IoT Lab

IoT, Edge, Fog and Cloud – the HPI IoT lab offers a wide range of different types of hardware, reaching from embedded devices, over single-board computers equipped with accelerator hardware, hardened Edge devices, to Cloud hardware with high capacities. It is an indispensable resource for our research and teaching activities.

Some laboratory equipment is listed in our inventory, available as list and slides.

projects

Please find information on some past projects below. If students want to realize own projects, we are happy to discuss ideas, possibilities, and support. Our research seminar and embedded operating systems lecture are examples for usually well-suited courses to conduct projects. However, we are also open to project ideas in other or outside courses. In any case, feel free to pay us a visit or reach out via email.
