publicly funded research project "DiAK" started
Today, the research project DiAK: Digitales Andreaskreuz (Digital St. Andrew's cross) started. The research project is part of the project Reallab Hamburg (RealLabHH) – which in turn is part of the project National Platform Future of Mobility (NPM) – and publicly funded by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (Bundesministerium für Digitales und Verkehr).
Together with the consortium partners DB Systel, Siemens Mobility, the German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt, DLR), and the BMW Group, the Professorship for Operating Systems and Middleware is looking forward to work on the digitally transforming mobility for increased efficiency, comfort and safety. We will primarily contribute with our expertise in intelligent transportation systems (V2X, ITS-G5, IEEE 802.11p, IEEE 1609), as well as dependable middleware architectures and dependable operation of IT infrastructures.
